The Grand Final

After some discussion with Patriot and some more, have I [Olof] made an compromise of the different ideas about the civilizations. Here is the result:

There will be five games, and the first who gathers 3 victories will be the winner of this tournament.

Here are the civilizations for the five games:


G1. Britons vs. Goths (no imperial age)
G2. Goths vs. Britons (no imperial age)
G3. Choose your favorite civilization
G4. Choose between Chinese or Korea
G5. Choose between Turks or Spanish


Explanations:

First game one of you play Britons, and the other Goths. For example: "Parana starts with the Britons, which leaves RoR_BzH to play Goths. Unlike other games in this and the second game you will only play from dark age to castle age - and not to imperial age.

In the second game you now switch civilizations from first game. For example: now will parana play Goths and RoR_BzH the Britons. Like the first game you will only play from dark age to castle age.

In the third game you choose a civilization for yourself - your favorite one for Arena. For example: Parana choose to play celts, and RoR_BzH choose Mayans.

In the fourth game both will have the option to choose Chinese or Koreans. For example both could choose to play Chinese, or it could be that Parana choose to play Chinese and RoR_BzH the Koreans.

In the fifth and last game, if you reach this far, it will be like the fourth one, but this time you get to choose between Turks or Spanish. The choice is yours.

Hi and welcome to this new tournament. In this one we will try an new system for our tournament that involves 16 members. All who wants can join, and not only clan members. For more info about the tournament rules watch this image.

How does play-off mode work?

The persons with highest score in one group meets an person with 2:nd place score in another group. Like in the group games there will be 2 games against each others, but this time you either win or lose. If you win one game each (1-1) the challenge will be settled by playing a third game.


Which civilization should be used in play-off games?

The first game against your opponent should be with a random civilization. But in the second game you will use the last games civilizations, and this time you change them. If I for example played Vikings in first game and my opponent Celts, I will in the second game play Celts, and my opponent Vikings.

If you need to play an third game to settled the challenge, you now will play a new (not one from last two games) civilization that you both will play. For example you played Vikings and Celts in first two games, but in the third game you now decide together to both play the Mongols. (if you cant choice adm will choice civ for you)

I wish you very good luck guys during the games. The results from Arena will be interesting, it's very different from water games (as the tournament we played recently) and other land maps. GL & HF
