CoBL_Olof 1v1 celts vs aztecs!

Here is an interesting game I think that I recently won. I played celts and fought bravely if I might say it myself against heavy attacks from aztecs. At the end the aztec player had upgraded champions +8 attack and I had no idea how to counter it with celts. So my only hope were to try to treb down his base while he attacked - and it actually worked.

massive 15-20 scorpions will fix problem

Ah, yeah that would probably have worked.

Celts have bonus seage work shop work 20% faster . and Celts have special upgrade in castle for 1+range and faster shot for seage units.

read your mistakes and try to fix:

you start in 14sec of game
you didnt use sheeps to explore map
for archery rush 24 vils feudal not 23
whu you make spearman vs astek ?
update balistic and chemistry in university
1h20 min of game and you full resources you didnt have houses 200 pop, and your pop 145 ?

but any way realy good game one moment he have 4000 score you 2000 but you come back same like daut

Good analysis, thanks Patriot. I guess I didn't quite plan well, I wasn't sure if I should go scout rush or archery. Pikes, hm yeah good question, might be that I wanted to have a cheap army to dry out the champs, I don't remember

Always use siege work shop as the number one military building when playing with celts. And try to mass woad riders and raid his eco. They are very fast.

Ah yeah, that sounds also like a good suggestion. Siege + halberdiers is probably a good combo, and with some woad riders. About woad riders I rarely buy them since they seem to be inferior other melee units - but as you say for raid they are probably quite good.
